Webslinger
While watching the first Spider-Man not too long ago, it seemed even more obvious than ever that the bridge scene where New Yorkers are taunting the Green Goblin and standing up for Spidey was definitely something that was added right after 9/11. The first teaser is also, unfortunately and for obvious reasons, dated very firmly to the summer of 2001.

HesAPooka
I recently watched the movie Slapshot with my uncle. It's apparently a classic, but I maybe laughed twice during that entire film. I thought it was mostly boring and mean-spirited. That movie is hilarious, but I can see someone who is used to new comedies not finding it as funny. Wormhole
I don't think Raimi's Spider-Man series holds up well at all.
Webslinger
Yeah, it's pretty obvious that the Raimi Spider-Man movies were made just before the trend of taking blockbuster franchises into darker and grittier territory. That said, I think they're still way better than the more serious reboot films.

Empire
Krull, ugh, bad movie, even worse today. Yeah, I watched that sometime last year and it was truly laughable how bad it has aged.
filmlover
I remember being really impressed by the special effects in Spy Kids back when it came out, especially since the budget was very low by blockbuster standards ($35M, if I remember correctly). TServo2049
Yeah, I watched that sometime last year and it was truly laughable how bad it has aged.Krull is stupid, it's aged badly, but it's a guilty pleasure of mine. And I didn't even SEE it until 2007, I wasn't alive when it came out, so this is not 80s nostalgia talking.
