Yeah Expendables 4 is far from a given. First of all it will be a flop for Lionsgate, who doesn't get most of the international profits outside of the UK. While the leak is going to hurt the international numbers much more then US.

I thought PG-13 was stupid all along for EX3. Why would kids or young teens be interested in a bunch of geriatric action? EX's bread and butter has always been the nostalgic adult crowd, and they pissed that crowd off by "softening" the franchise.

They don't own them though. Millennium funds the movie and own the rights. Lionsgate rights are just for US and UK as distributor for the movie, because they bought those rights. Same thing goes with the Olympus/London Has Fallen movies. Millennium owned the rights and the first film was distributed by Film District and now the second movie is going to be distributed by Lionsgate.

Weinstein should just give up..this year was a fucking disaster..Vampire Academy lol..that nicole kidman/colin firth WW2 movie also bombed..and now this..and sin city 2 won't overperform for sure..they fucked up so badly recently..
