There might be some confusion, I was talking about the trailer for Shazam, supposed to be released soon.

 

Since other studios are afraid of Glass, it will have no real competition.

Some kid at work told me this is "low-budget". He also thinks it'll gross 500M worldwide. 

 

Is this actually low-budget? Never cared to ask him what his source was

If Shazam gets good reviews it can easily reach $800 million. Interest for comic book movies is there. It just needs to be entertaining, people will show up easily.

I imagine the budget is probably in the Rampage range so $120-130m which is modest for a superhero film but in line with New Line's more expensive films.
