Not sure if the change on the Local release date is going to affect International release dates. Can someone confirm this?

 

This is my most anticipated movie of the Holiday season together with MOANA.

Going wide in the shadow of Rogue One against two flops-waiting-to-happen (Collateral Beauty, Space between us) and then have 2 weeks of holidays to boost it legs sounded like a much more solid strategy to me.

 

Now it'll open against Sing, Passengers, Why Him? and R1's second holiday boosted weekend. If the movie catches on with audiences it won't matter anyway but if someone is gonna get lost in the shufle it'll be La La Land.

Christmas always allows for multiple films to do well. Besides, we all know Assassin's Creed is locked to be the big bomb of the holidays.
