Avengers: Age of Ultron OS Thread | $945.7M OS | $1.405B WW

Recommended Posts

It was boosted by numbers in UK and SK. Tuesday will be boosted by SK only, so maybe 16-17m. After that it will do around 12m each for Wed/Thurs. Thus it should be at 500m after Thursday.

Sounds good. Should have a good drop this weekend, no? No big competitions. This weekend should be a good test for WOM in OS markets.

On the contrary, last weekend was boosted by Labor day...... I am expecting 55% drop in holdovers plus a million or two in new markets for around 80m weekend. Thereafter, it should have good drops.

HOW much is needed from China for 1B OS?

At this point, the minimum it will do from OS markets excluding China seems to be 750m while maximum 800m. So China will be required to do anything between 200-250m.

According to The Numbers, in Indonesia, AoU has made $12,368,497 after 2 weeks, already higher than TA's total. Meanwhile FF7, which is currently the highest grossing movie of all time, is at $16,629,601 after 5 weeks. If AoU is at around $15.7m or more after this weekend, then it will break the record, since Mad Max or Pitch Perfect won't be as damaging to AoU as AoU was to FF7.

Thanks edroger! I was so waiting for your chart!! Asia is getting greener ;)

Chile must be over $2.5m for AoU and Venezuela $6.4m (Rth knows everything). I hope BOM updated their numbers tonight :) on the Romanian thread you can find new totals for both movies ;)

I think by Sunday, AoU will be around $900M ($310M in NA, $590M elsewhere). Massive disappointment considering Avengers had crossed $1B by that point but hopefully China will make up for it.

It will. And exchange rates plus declining 3D is most to blame..

TA had crossed it while chinese release was underway though.    Not to mention most foreign countries were in their third week as opposed to the second one for most AOU latine american ones...

AoU made $18.3M overseas on Tuesday. Very small drop from Monday presumably due to the holiday in South Korea.

That estimate was according to Deadline. THR has it at $18.7M (an hour later). Even better.
