What 2015 Films Are You Looking Forward To?

Recommended Posts

So... this is my first topic; I hope I'm doing this right.

So the title is pretty straightforward; what 2015 films are you looking forward to seeing (ones that you think might be worth a trip to the cinemas). You can, but don't have to put anything in order (I won't be doing that until New Years) and of course you can edit if a new trailer comes out etc. You can also include why you have a certain film on your list, or why you don't.  :)

I don't think there's a thread for this, or if this could be considered too similar to the "top 10 most anticipated films for the next 12 months" thread. But Mods, if this topic already exists, or doesn't need to exist, you know what to do  ;)

Okay, so without further ado, here's my list, which I will be editing over the next little while. I'm just going to run down the list, starting from January and ending in December.

- Tak3n

- Blackhat

- American Sniper (I'm counting this one 2015 but you don't have to)

- (I'm on the fence at the moment for The Wedding Ringer)

- Mortecai (that new trailer got me interested)

- Jupiter Ascending

- Seventh Son

- SpongeBob: Sponge Out Of Water

- Secret Service

- Chappie

- Cinderella

- Heart of the Sea

- Insurgent

- Get Hard

- Home

- Furious 7

- Run All Night

- Avengers: Age of Ultron

- Mad Max: Fury Road

- Tomorrowland

- San Andreas

- B.O.O

- Peanuts

- Bond 24

- MockingJay Part 2

- The Martain

- The Good Dinosaur

- Star Wars: The Force Awakens

- Kung Fu Panda 3

- Mission: Impossible 5

- Dirty Grandpa

I didn't include the Hateful Eight, The Walk, or Joy because either I don't know much about them, there have been no trailers, or I'm not certain of a release date.  :)

Regardless of whether every film is good or not, 2015 is looking like one of the most exciting years of recent purely because of how busy it is. I can't wait to see (in order of release):

Foxcatcher (")
Into the Woods (")
Big Hero 6 (")
The Interview (")
Jupiter Ascending

Jurassic World
Minions
Ant-Man
Inside Out
St. James Place
The Jungle Book

Just checked out The Playlist's most anticipated movies of 2015 list, and there were some really interesting ones I didn't know about.

Triple Nine - John Hillcoat's next movie, about a bunch of corrupt cops being blackmailed into pulling off a heist. Sick cast.

Sea of Trees - Gus Van Sant's new movie, a dark character drama starring Matthew McConaughey, Ken Watanabe and Naomi Watts, taking place in the haunting "suicide forest" in Japan.

Sicario - a thriller about an FBI agent trying to take down a Mexican drug lord. Cause for excitement: directed by Denis Villeneuve, starring Emily Blunt, Josh Brolin and Benicio Del Toro, and shot by Roger Deakins.
