Jackson's LOTR Triogy vs Nolans Batman Triolgy

However lets compare their most popular films and likely two of the best received and beloved trilogies of the modern era. 

 

 

What is better?

 

They are quite different.

Overall I'll go with The Dark Knight.

I think Nolans TDK easily stands with any of the LOTR films and BB is close behind.

 

However out of the six films, TDKR lags behind. 

 

 

Its a fun comparison as two trilogies are the most famous  and well loved trilogies of the past 2 decades easily.

The Dark Knight is the best film out of the six, IMO, but as a trilogy overall LOTR takes it.

No, The Bourne trilogy is because it's the only one I can name without a weak instalment ( it's RotK for LotR)

As someone who loves Nolan and his Batman films, this isn't even a contest.  LOTR

2) The Return of the King  9.5/10

3) The Dark Knight  9.5/10

4) The Two Towers  9.5/10

5) Batman Begins  9/10

6) The Dark Knight Rises  8/10

i haven't watched any of these films since i started watching films seriously, but i'm going to guess nolan, because i suspect TDK is the only one of the six i'd consider even good now. LOTR will probably rub me very badly.
