Marion Cotillard might be the best working actress. certainly at least top 5 is inarguable to me. those people who think she's bad cos they only watch movies based on the funnybooks should expand their horizons.

What exactly is odd about it?  He's a director.  Pitt is an actor.  These two professions tend to work together on film.  In fact, I could be wrong here, but I'd be willing to bet that every fictional film ever made in history has had an actor and a director.
