You know I may have overestimated earlier when I said it could reach March 2011's ticket sales, I'm now leaning to April 2013 (78m). 650m I think is the target. Divergent's really going to have to overperform to break from this.

2.2M below the estimate. That is one of the biggest drops I can remember this year. They really wanted the 70M opening headlines.

I think everybody called it the moment Saturday was 27M, 67-68M was where it was going to end up after making 50M in 2 days.

Your point about audience demos will be interesting to see play out. With a 66% female audience, that is the highest skew outside of franchises like Twilight and 50 Shades, even Frozen only had a 55% female audience. Will be interesting to see if the good reviews and audience feedback helps it expand the demo considerably.
