Impact
Basically all the reviews I've read say San Andreas has fantastic visuals-even if weak at everything else. (Well hey they did nominate Twister in 1996 so you never know!)
DAJK
Basically all the reviews I've read say San Andreas has fantastic visuals-even if weak at everything else. (Well hey they did nominate Twister in 1996 so you never know!) I hope either Furious 7, San Andreas, or Pan could get nominated, so I can say my uncle worked on the effects for two Oscar nominated effects films (as well as District 9). DAJK
So he can have a page on Wikipedia also couldn't resist He may have an imdb page but I'm not sure. Having your own Wikipedia page is how I measure if one is famous lol. My life goal is to have a Wikipedia page created for me, and then I will consider myself "famous"
Travod
I have this feeling MM:FR has a chance of being crowded out.

My life goal is to have a Wikipedia page created for me, and then I will consider myself "famous" Actually looks like every sound editor who has been nominated has a wiki page! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academy_Award_for_Best_Sound_Editing So now we all know who Per Hallberg is! WrathOfHan
I hate predicting the Oscars this early, but this is an easy enough category to predict early. One of Mad Max, The Martian, or The Walk One of Ant-Man or Avengers Furious 7 Jurassic World Star Wars

Goffe
There is no fucking way Mad Max doesn't win this.
The Futurist
Mad Max CGI was VERY shoddy, done by a low tier australian VFX house.
WrathOfHan
Now that Ant-Man is out, it's definitely getting nominated over Avengers.
