I cant gloat on calling $50 million, because it seems a good bit of you did as well. But people who werent on the $50 million+ train, seemed to be in the $30 million club. Some predictions were below. But...how? Imagine if this opened to $30 and then $29 with actuals.

Just dont see how thats possible, but glad it didnt happen. Well deserved breakout, and a much cheaper thrill than Six Flags.

San Andreas > Fury Road DOM?

Both deserve more than there probably gonna get. Both incredibly pleasing movies that so many eyeballs just need to see. Add Avengers and what a May this has been.

Weve came a long way from May 07.

Disaster movies are far more watched by the general audiences.

They are always on TV like 2012 and TDAT and WWZ.

My point is we think movies are mostly watched in theaters, however its becoming a small fraction of total audience for certain kinds of films.

Do you have any idea how many times Pitch Perfect airs in a given week?

Nobody watches 2012. PP's airings on ABC Family have hit the top 20 cable ratings like four different times.

I follow ratings a lot but didn't know that.  INSANE.
