over the past few years the site has gotten worse, but particularly in the last 6 months it's gotten really bad. A couple of weeks ago, Ray Subers left BOM and IMDB has got their chief editor to look after the site. It's being updated much less and the articles are much poorer. They're hiring someone new to manage the site but I don't expect it'll get any better.

But if Rth becomes manager at BOM...

Mad Max looks like it's going to finish in a position fairly aligned with The Great Gatsby.

I think it'll do $150M. Great Gatsby did $6.5M at $128.5M. Mad Max will be at $131M with $8.3M. Great Gatsby did $144.8M Total, Mad Max should do $5M more than that since its currently holding better.

I am surprised he doesn't have his website.

RTH likes to keep a low profile.  He told me this in Toronto.  He didn't even want his picture taken because basically what he does for us is frowned upon by who he works for.

Not to mention, his gig is cooler than just having his own website.

I hope you're right, but Mad Max faces much more direct competition.

Sand Andreas is playing much better than I expected, its in for a nasty drop next weekend though, lack of strong competition helped out.

Looking at the release schedule, I don't see a single repeat weekend winner the rest of this summer. Avengers 2 may end up being the only movie to win more than one weekend from May thru Labor Day.

So when are you coming to NYC so we can do a Nolan marathon at my place?
