Reviews seem good to me. Honestly a 70+ RT rating would surprise me after how terrible the trailers looked to me.

I dont know either. I just know that the critic gets to choose whether or not the rating is fresh or rotten.

I think it's half & half whether reviews upload their blurb/grade to the site or RT does it. The former is more likely with strictly online blogs and sites vs newspapers and magazines.

So I guess we could be getting similar critical reception to the first after all. If this doesn't go rotten, we might have an entire summer of fresh blockbusters. Skyscraper looks decent enough to make the cut. Only The Meg might go green.

It's RT score of 67% is lower than the first one already, and the average score is quite a bit lower (6.1 vs 6.7). I don't see this being higher than low 50's based off this start.
