Pratt's gonna pick the 1.5b franchise over fucking guardians of the galaxy say what?

 

JW 2 is in a prime position to show off Pratt's talents more and be a little more serious. BDH is the only one who really showed some acting skill in JW 1. Let Pratt shime in #2.

JW woefully underused Pratt though, not that muich of him came through. It was better for him being there, but it could have been better than it was.

 

One of the things everyone I spoke with said was "needed more Pratt". I've seen the sentiment repeated that he was the most relatable chracter and people really liked him in it.

 

Now, it wasn't as "him" as Peter Quill in GOTG, but if it was, people would be bitching about how he only plays himself and how it's wrong to make JW a comedy etc etc. I thought the role was fine because it still showed off his charm without making it too comedic. I think he definitely showed his leading man potential in JW.

Chris Hemsworth could have easily played this role in Jurassic World. It was a painfully wooden and cliched part, and like I said, probably to play better in translations overseas. They didn't utilize anything that we like about him.

Chris Pratt is great, but this movie doesn't solidify anything tbh.

I would watch an Indiana Jones film with Ford as Indy and Pratt as an apprentice to take over the franchise. Recasting Indy will break my heart. I want just one more film with Ford as Indy! PLEASE DISNEY!
