Weekend Estimates: Ant-Man 58.04 | Minions 50.24 | Trainwreck 30.24 | IO 11.66 | JW 11.36 (Page 88)

From this opening, I could see Ant-Man finishing at around 155M. It would e nice to see it hit 175 but with MI5 and F4 coming out, I would be happy with anything around that 155 mark or higher.

Oh it was. You had to hide VHS tape in the sleeve of another movie. Same with a DVD. Or a magazine had to be hid under a mattress

my friend did that with a Big Daddy(Adam Sandler movie) VHS box and put a porno inside the box. Edited by Maxmoser3

I think he meant the original sci-fi like EOT, Jupiter Ascending, Tomorrowland or non-sequel movies like John Carter or Pacific Rim.

So he wants us to support shit for the sake of getting more shit? (EoT was good).

blu ray is higher quality than what's available online though. CDs are just mp3 files anyway.

Most digital copies are in HD and 5.1 audio now. Streaming movies in 4k will be available in the near future, hell, porn is already available to download in 4k. Which is a bit much.

What has been seen, cannot be unseen.

Well, he probably meant only the good ones..lol. I just named all the I could come up with.

Yeah EOT was good and I quite enjoyed PR for the visuals. Both movies could have made more IMO.

I don't care if I can download Super HD versions of the movies, they won't come with nice artworks or nice packaging, my favourite movies deserve a physical form. ;)  Now if they are shit movies then I don't mind owning a ghost version of them.

Oh trust me, I'm in the same boat. I've bought so many movies just for a certain packaging.

But as I'm running out of physical space to store my movies, digital copies of certain movies now is becoming a more frequent option, especially when I can buy UVHD copies that'll stream on Vudu or Flixster in the secondary market for $1 for old releases and $5 for new releases.

A few of my steelbooks, some suspect movies, but they were steelbooks so I had to have them.

Its nut just about the resolution, but the bitrate as well.

Yeah, you're going to lose quality with compression but the average person is not going to notice banding and artifacts when they're streaming movies.

Btw, did you mean to use "nut" in your reply in regards to my porn reference? That's hilarious if you did.

Thats the exact case with me when it comes to books. Its so easy to find free copies of almost any book online. But E-books are just not the same as Physical copies of the books. The Cover Artwork, actually holding the book, the ease of flipping the papers, even the smell of paper - it all makes the experience so much better. But since I don't earn myself as of yet I have to make do with the fucking downloaded E-Books from the net
