It also proves you don't need movie stars to open films, you just need a story people know and a good director, because this movie was full of no names, Hollywood took a real chance with casting and it paid off

If Universal was smart they would plan SOC as a trilogy with Straight Outta Compton 2 focusing on Dre working with Snoop Dogg and Tupac,

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Two people are hospitalized after a shooting incident outside a Maple Grove movie theater Saturday evening.

Maple Grove Police say the two victims were in a car outside the AMC Arbor Lakes Theater just before 10 p.m. when they were shot. They were hospitalized with what police believe are non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators say they believe the victims and shooter knew each other, and there is no threat to the public.
