A little higher than Jurassic World in local currency, though behind Terminator: Genisys, and way behind Ultron, and Furious 7. Good numbers

lol I know. It means their forecast was off.

Partly, yes (see my earlier post about being interested to see how far of they are - meant as in complete)  :)

BO.com's 4-days-weekend forecast vs studio estimates for the 4-day-weekend

Straight Outta Compton         $11,800,000     vs.  $11.1m

War Room          $10,800,000     vs. $12.55m

Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation          $9,800,000     vs   $9.3m

The Transporter Refueled     $8,800,000     vs. $9m

No Escape (2015)         $6,700,000     vs. $7.03m

A Walk in the Woods         $6,100,000     vs   $10.35m

The Man from U.N.C.L.E.          $3,900,000

Sinister 2         $3,800,000

Ant-Man     $3,700,000

Minions          $3,600,000

Inside Out (2015)          $3,500,000     vs. $4.54m

Hitman: Agent 47         $3,400,000

The Gift (2015)          $3,300,000

Un Gallo con Muchos Huevos ..---.. vs.  studio estimate $4.42M, didn't even  appear in their top 10 forecast list, so that one and the Walk in the Woods is IMHo the most of, mddle ground off War Room & IO, the others are ~ o.K. off.

Beside, it's all still only estimates ;)

Speaking of multipliers, literally every movie since Minions has hit a 3+ multiplier thanks to a weak August slate. Only movies which won't hit a 3 will be Fantastic 4 and Paper Towns (which will almost hit it).

Great late summer for legs thanks to new releases not doing well.

At what point will we find out what Furious 7 actually made though? It has to be higher than $351 million now.

As it was Universal and Universal broke so many records this year I think it will get mentioned in articles written by people not only looking at BOM... for datas. If there isn't already one. But will we ever know? A lot of the really big hitters get small extra days or run in ~ cult cinemas or... sometimes even for years.

Example: we have in Munich a cinema that shows the Rocky Horror Picture Show since 24. Juni 1977 for many years daily, now at least each Friday and Sunday.
