...Right...

When do I get to say DC is doing the "SJW" thing too. With Lois Lane Superman. Or Chinese superman. Latina green Lantern. Arab Green lantern. Black kid flash. Gay batman and superman wedding.

The Holocaust survivor who hates Nazis is a Neo Nazi now.

It’s a variant cover. Nobody is having Magneto side with Nazis. This is just covers depicting what heroes and villains would look like if they joined Hydra.

The chance of any of these covers being a spoiler for Secret Empire is next to zero.

What a non sequitur... and a completely erroneous one.

To expound any further would have this moved to the Franchise Wars thread. :P

Back to costumes, I do like Aquaman topless and tattooed in that short clip.  More of that please.

Agreed, BVS is the better movie. Not by much but it is.

This forum is pretty split between them though, just remember that we had a draw between them in this forum's TOP25 of 2017 which actually sounds fair to me since they both have their own strengths and weaknesses and their own unique personalities and they obviously resonated very differently with some people.

Not even close.  CW is a well movie - well structured & populated with appealing compelling characters.   BvS is a narrative mess with unlikable poorly rendered characters (who I love and like in other movies and formats).

The Top 25 just means there were more die hard DC and Batman fervently fans voting - the usual around.

Reviews here (like elsewhere) weren't even close.  Check out the Review threads.

Aha, so BVS inspired more passion, makes sense.

Haven't seen the BVS UE, but the theatrical cut of BVS is in only a few ways better than CW (the cinematography and the score are far better and more memorable). Otherwise, CW wins, hands down. What really stands out to me as to explaining why one's better than the other is that BVS TC fails in giving anyone credible motivations to do what they do (besides Batman), while in Civil War, save for a few characters, everyone's motivations are made crystal clear (regardless of the shoehorning of some people). CW sets up its conflict by making you feel empathy for the points that each side offers, while in BVS, you're just stuck w/questioning what even is Lex Luthor, or why is Superman going after Batman for being a vigilante if he is one himself every bit as much.

But yeah, those are my two cents on it.

People who honestly disliked Batman v Superman will eventually come to their senses. A lot of them have, in these past few months. In time when people look back at 2016, BVS and La La Land are going to be remembered as the movies that defined the year. Its reputation is only growing since release, and it will continue to do so.

Civil War on the other hand is only downhill since.

You can always watch the cartoons if you can't handle a realistic take on Batman.

I have a feeling you don't know what the word realistic means. I'll read the comics if I want an accurate take on Batman.

Yes, maybe it's realistic to expect a vigilante like Batman to exist in our world and to do what he does without touching anyone.

Incorrect it has a video game, theme park and comic book. This constitutes as a franchise!
