Hopefully the same people that kept the last thread going can keep it up with this one. There are currently a lot of horrors scheduled for wide release. I think at least afew will revert to limited/platform releases. What ones are you curious about? Excited for? Are there any *really* early estimates? Mockingjay Raphael
What you guys think will be the Top 5 of year? I'm going with: TC2/TP3/O2/R/TW
Mockingjay Raphael
Unlike 2015, this year is off to a good start with TF's break out, TB is being released this weekend, could this be another break out? Or it will suffer for being the second PG13 horror movie in less than two weeks? The biggest horror hit last year was TV, there's already two movies that are locked to surpass it (TC2/TP3), and O2 also could surpass it, this year is looking so stronger as 2013
Krissykins
I'll say: 1. The Conjuring 2 2. The Purge 3 3. Untitled New Line (I think it'll be Annabelle 2) 4. Lights Out 5. The Witch

I don't think Ouija 2 will make more than $20m total.
DAJK
I only care about Conjuring 2 and Purge 3. I may still see the witch, but I doubt many of the others.

The thing about Ouija is: I hated this shit, but for some weird reason, it was well received, especially by teens, it had great legs, and sold more DVDs than Annabelle (!) I really think we can see an increase with this one, especially if they bring the cast back

Krissykins
Have you guys seen the trailer for A24's GREEN ROOM? Very effective, looks promising. I've added the 3 limited releases that are so far scheduled. If any of you notice more with dates let me know, they're quite hard to keep track of.

Plus it's from the director of Blue Ruin. Plus it's got Imogen Poots ().
