I'm watching Goodnight Mommy, freaky!

Also my Dad yesterday watched the first 20 minutes of It Follows and loved it, and horror movies aren't even his thing. So we're going to watch it today! (This will be my first time watching it)

Is Baskin out yet? I watched it at TIFF last year, and it was pretty good... Nice to see some saturated colors.

I waiting to see Der Nachtmahr and Demon. Lights Out looks pretty good too.

Ah, Lionsgate releasing a horror film.

They haven't done that for a while since their new leader turned his back on them to go for big franchises.

Now that Divergent has fallen on its ass, looks like they're going back to what they were good at.

Warner must have confidence in The Conjuring 2 if they are having public screenings for it this Friday. That's a month before release, a lot of time for bad word of mouth to get out if it sucks.

The last trailer looked really promising. Still remember seeing the original at an early screening. Hope it's not a letdown.

Or fantastic word of mouth if it's great.

I thought it was great! Definitely kept me guessing as it wasn't building to anything overly obvious throughout. And loved the gore. God I miss gore. I want some hardcore gory horror movies again, its been so long

You need to see the I Spit on your Grave trilogy.  If it's gore you love then gore is what you will receive.

I'm really ready for slashers to make a comeback.

There hasn't been a wide release slasher film in over 3 years, since Texas Chainsaw 3D in January 2013.

In fact, in the 2010's, we've only had 4 slashers released wide. We're in year 6 of the 10's. That's ridiculous.

Plus, grosses for those weren't horrendous either.

What gives?
