Zootopia had the biggest 3rd weekend for an animated original and second overall (just behind Shrek 2). ;) Next weekend it has a shot at having the biggest 4th weekend for an animated film if it can make more than the $24 million Monsters Inc. made. And a 26% and 28% aren't much different. Both are amazing holds. :D We can't always expect it to rise just because it rose the first two weekends. I actually expected it to drop because a lot less people are off break tod. Hopefully it can drop under 70% today due to Easter week.

Zootopia has pulled in ~$180 million in China alone. If it keeps on having these insane holds, its China gross may just beat the domestic gross. Long shot, but the fact that this is even a remote possibility is crazy.

I just want to tell you that you have the most amazing forum name here. lol

Thank you. That is really cool of you to say. I used to go by Guardian Devil on BOM a long time ago (in a galaxy far, far away), but someone carried on that tradition and adopted it over here. So it gave me an incentive to come up with a new name, which I like even more.

I was pelikula at BOM. Don't know if you would remember.

Yep, I remember that one. I thought it was a misspelling of 'peculiar' for a little while. lol

It's a good thing that some names around here were carried over from BOM. The main reason I joined was because I knew this site was a legitimate follow-up to BOM with Baumer and BKB and the mentions of Kal El.

@tyrannyreborn is also here. Not very active though. I wonder how cdmc is doing. @Baumer?

That sunday projection was so optimistic but you can't blame Disney since Zoo has pretty much defied the norms for this time of year.... oh well.... Now just as a reminder the Monday drop this week should be at or just higher than last week (next monday will be massive though (in a good way)) so -70%+ should be expected for a 3.4-3.6 gross (I think) Still great for a film in spring that is entering it's 3rd set of weekdays!

Great weekend overall - too bad Deadpool's legs will be cut short this weekend, would love to see Passion finally go down.

@kayumanggi Out of curiosity, did someone manage to archive the threads from BOM before it was shut down? Would be interesting to see if so, but since that shut down happened so abruptly, I wouldn't count on it.

We were all shocked. lol
