Mr Impossible
I think it looks right on target for $560M. Which for a franchise starter is great. Edited April 2, 2017 by Mr Impossible
Cookson
With the good legs domestically and China, it'll hit 550m WW for sure. Not sure how much after that.

Purple Minion
Crossed $500M WW. From Deadline: Kong: Skull Island has crossed the $500M mark at the worldwide box office, thanks to a stellar showing in China where it is on its way to the 1B RMB milestone there. Although it was released in 65 countries, in China, where the film is being distributed directly by Wanda-owned Legendary, it is expected to become one of the top 10 English-language releases of all time. Last weekend it was at 852M RMB ($124M) alone. In Vietnam, one of the movie’s primary filming locations, it has become the highest-grossing picture of all time. It also opened extremely well in Japan. The film has grossed more than $358.7M internationally to push over the $500M mark with $509M. http://deadline.com/2017/04/kong-skull-island-crosses-500m-boosted-by-china-1202064019/ Edited April 6, 2017 by Purple Minion

It could get close at least. 170 Dom + 165 China + 20-25 Japan + 210-220 Rest of OS = 565-580 EDIT1: Looking at 565 WW. Japan will be ~18 and Rest of OS at ~210. Dom and China around 168-169. EDIT2: Had a realistic shot at 580. 25 in Japan would have taken it close to 575. Edited April 25, 2017 by a2knet

a2k
China is 168.3m USD right now and if it plays this weekend and the coming Mon-Thu, should make it to 169m USD. China and Dom is looking at 168-169 each and still not clear which will be the biggest market.
