Anways, I'm so happy the summer season has begun! Not just for the numbers and films, but it's my first time in the Derby. Can't wait to see how awful awesome I do.

I think BO.com used the same thing to predict a better-than-expected Sunday hold. So basically, nobody knows.

The last few Marvel films haven't exactly had bad holds on Mother's Day: Avengers is the standout with 27% and the others are 30-33% if I recall correctly. I don't think there's much of an effect one way or the other, and any effect could just be overshadowed by spillover business from Saturday if that day is gigantic.
