a2k
After the 4th weekend, DORY was on 423m DORY's current Mon-Thu will end up at 11m (2.6 + 3.55 + 2.6 + 2.25) TS3 was 11.5m. DORY's 5th weekend will be say 11m, -47% (423 + 11 + 11 = 445m cume) (have given it a bigger drop to show how easy 475m is) TS3's was 12m, -43% (363m cume) After the 5th weekend of 12m TS3 added 52m more. After the 5th weekend of 11m DORY will be 30m away from 475m. I am not implying that DORY will add 52m after the 5th weekend. I am implying that it cannot add less than 30m after the 5th weekend. filmlover
I imagine another big drop is coming for The BFG this weekend. Every theater around is either dropping it or cutting it down to 2 shows a day.

If Dory doesn't recover this weekend 500m for it is gone. Don't forget that Fourth of July was last week.

DAJK
Just want to rant for a moment here, wonder what you guys think. So everyone knows that movie theatre employees see free movies, it's a perk of the job. Whether or not it's their own screenings off shift (which honestly doesn't really happen) or just they get a card which entitles them to tickets (that's more like it). However, starting with Star Wars this past December, a rule was issued by the studio etc that no Cast members could punch in a ticket for free for that movie during the first 2 weeks of play. That was fine with me, because it's Star Wars and I would pay a million bucks to see it! Second, the movie had plenty of sell-outs during the first 2 weeks so it made sense. However, after Star Wars, more studios realized they could take advantage of that as well, and more and more movies were given these restrictions. BvS, CW, Apocalypse, Through the Looking Glass, Dory, and most likely SS next month. Still, it was a bit annoying, but not something that truly bothered me. However, now Disney has issued that no Staff members can use their cards to see ANY Disney movie for free at any point during its time playing in theatres. Whether or not the theatre would be empty like BFG or not, no free tickets can be punched in. Why? Cause Disney are cheap? Cause they know their movies do so well that they can play around with theatres like this? It's like that kid who has that really cool toy, and likes to show it off but wont let you touch it. I dunno, it's not a huge problem, but it's just kind of annoying in principle. And now looking into the future, I'm fairly sure that pretty soon other studios will announce the same thing until eventually, Staff Cards aren't even a thing, and theatre employees don't have the perk they've had for ages. Now I'm kinda glad BFG is bombing, and I hope Pete's Dragon does too

Conjuring about 110 and Shallows should have enough for 55 and maybe make a push for 60. But if I had to give you a number, I'd say it ends with about 56.
