I've seen most of PTA's films (Haven't seen Magnolia or Hard Eight) and they're all 8-8.5's outside of Inherent Vice (which sucks *shrug*)

My dad was asking me how the reviews on Suicide Squad were; I told him they're terrible and the movie is a bomb at the box office

Btw I watched that crowdfunded Braff movie. He's like 40 and doesn't have a job and his wife is gently needling him to find work. That's the main source of conflict in the movie. Like, his dad has cancer but the movie's more concerned with no one pressuring Braff into getting a job

IMAX sales were light in comparison to other movies last weekend too; it's not a large format movie for audiences. Don't Breathe and/or Morgan are going to get last minute pushes IMO

Ben-Hur is confirmed to get IMAX and I think the other movie that will get it before Sully will be Mechanic in a last minute move by Lionsgate. Morgan has an outside chance but FOX is already cancelling that movie OS lol, so I doubt they will care enough to give it an IMAX release.

Natalie Portman sucks. Idk what it is. She's beautiful, she's talented, she's a good role model, her SNL rap was awesome. But there's something whiny about her, like she's still a little girl. There's a reason her best performance was as a stunted, child-like, virgin ballerina.
