Storks likely will end below Pete's Dragon dom.

Budget is 70m so will be fine in the end.

60+ dom could still give it 175-200 ww which would be a win.

Mag7 budget is 90m which is good for the scale and cast.

But don't think it has much potential os.

Even with 35m ow, 90m+ dom should happen. Feedback seems to be decent.

Yeah, Storks will "Tarzan" it for WB and I think Mag 7 is in that above-average spot between modest and amazing expectations. So really another fairly blase weekend, which bodes pretty well for holdovers.

If you believe that, you'll believe anything.

It would be hard to start a franchise when

Spoiler

The only notable character of the 7 who survives is Denzel, who essentially never does franchises (Equalizer 2 being his first sequel ever).

I'm sure Mag 7 could have sequels, the original did but I suspect it won't happen

I wonder what will be the first film to crack $50m OW in September, Ninjago could do it next year but I imagine that'll be more like $35-40m, HT3 might do it or Scooby Doo depending on which one remains in that September 2018 slot

Guess yell never saw the original.

Not a sequel type movie

Dunno, the Yul Brynner version had 3 sequels, all terrible. Also, regarding the spoiler...

Very few characters (I believe Brynner's and McQueen's - who was recast) returned in the sequels, so it can be done. Not that it looks likely now, given the projected BO.

Brynner only returned for the first sequel as well (his character was then recast)
