Seems an ok number to me. Not great considering 15M (1/3 of it) already come from China. But not bad either. 

 

160M-175M OS weekend? Or am I lowballing it? Can’t see 200M though.

Should be enough for a 190-200 mill OW OS after such a big friday.. Most OS countries increases alot on sat.. Even on OW

 

China increased 40%

South Korea 90%

UK,Scandinavia and other counties are garantueed to increase also

Which is pretty unusual for a comicbook movie, usually helped by the domestic market.

If JL does better than BvS OS is could make up some of the difference.

 

But how much is the question.

 

The high 700's WW is a relatively safe bet for the moment.

If JL makes 100 m less than BvS DOM but the same as BvS overseas that puts JL's WW total at around 775 m.

I don't see it making as much as BvS O/S though. 

 

Yes BvS opened on Good Friday which inflated a lot of markets' o/w but it's doing 40-50% less o/w in a lot of markets and we don't know if legs are going to be that much better to make up the vast difference.  And in markets like SK, Good Friday really wasn't a factor.

So Deadline with their 325 WW opening seems to have actually over predicted. Deadline now is going with 160-180 OS opening. Coupled with about say 95 domestic opening will give a worldwide opening of 255-275. Thats far lower than Thor's WW opening for reference

Let’s go with 180M OS opening weekend. 2.6x gives it about 470. +27M from this week Wed/Thu. And like 10M from Japan. That’ll put it at 505M OS.

 

2.6x legs seem a bit generous too. 

 

So I think it’ll be a really close call for the 500M OS milestone.

The fact that Justice League is opening in the same ballpark (perhaps $10-20M higher) as Days of Future Past worldwide is pretty crazy.
