They'll probably take the same route as The Big Short. Opened in 8 theaters before a wide release over Christmas in 1,585 theaters.

That's way too much. Mary Poppins and Aquaman will both be guaranteed at least two screens at midsize theaters, and Bumblebee is probably getting two as well. Add in Mortal Engines/Spider-Man/Bohemian Rhapsody/Holmes and that's a looooooooot of stuff.

I doubt Mortal Engines or Bumblebee are gonna be a threat to anything tbh.
