It seems obvious from the overwhelmingly positive feedback that it will have legs. I could see it staying in the top 5 into late May at this rate.

Zero chance whatsoever of that happening. TFA "only" made it to mid February when it comes to staying in the top 5, and that one started from a much higher level. Rogue One might be able to make it to late January or early February, but that's about it.

Looking at Monday, it is looking for a max of a 50% drop or around 18.5 million.

I think that may be a bit optimistic. Not that a sub 50% drop is impossible, but I wouldn't say that 50% is the maximum that could happen.

Back in 2011, out of the starters, MI: Ghost Protocol dropped 48.6% (hadn't really expanded yet though), Sherlock Holmes 2 52.3%, Alvin & the Chipmunks 59.2%. Holdovers mostly dropped a bit below 50%. With Rogue One coming from a much higher Sunday, I could see it drop more than 50%, though still quite a bit better than it would drop on a regular Monday.
