I am not sure this is super relevant to compare Rogue One with

 

the direct sequel to Return of the Jedi that was 32 years in the making, anticipated by 3 generations of fans.

 

 

 

The narrative that R1 numbers are disappointing next to FA numbers will be a wrong narrative, just like Civil War was supposed to do Avengers numbers (which it did anyway...)

 

Rogue 1 is gonna be a super succesful film, just like Civil War.

Only midnight premiere I ever did was Skyfall. The theater was only 1/4 full so it wasn't even that fun.
