Futurist must be using a random word generator at this point. My last explanation left.

Anyway, this doesn't sound very interesting, but neither did Bridge of Spies and that was my favorite movie of his in 17 years so.

Started production. changed it's name from The Post to The Papers, also *deep breath* Sarah Paulson, Bob Odenkirk, Matthew Rhys, Bradley Whitford, Carrie Coon, Jesse Plemons, David Cross, Alison Brie, Bruce Greenwood, Tracy Letts, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Zach Woods have been added to the cast.

That cast is insane!

The original name was better <_< (I say as a disgruntled DC local). But holy fuck that cast.

This is doing Lincoln numbers, maybe more. January has nothing and this will dominate until Fifty Shades.

Spielberg having two back to back hits within months of each other with The Post and likely Ready Player One. Just like 2002 and 1993 in reverse with Minority Report and Catch Me if You Can and Jurassic Park and Schindler's list.

Spielberg used to do movies for audiences (and it s been documented in books, he always had a copy of Variety in his hands in the 70's) now he does movies for himself and I just don't care much about the subject matter of his movies for the most part.

Spielberg is also an AMPAS whore, so he doesn't do these movies only for himself.

My probelm with Spielberg these days is not Steven, it s the movies he chooses to make.

All that freedom and power for History channel movies for the most part.

This movie looks like a sleeping pill.

Reading Awards Watch, the only two supporting characters that have anything noteworthy to do are Streep's character's daughter (almost definitely Alison Brie) and Ben Bagdikian (either Odenkirk, Whitford, or Letts). No Oscar nominated Carrie Coon or Sarah Paulson this time then :sadben:

i've read the script and y'know i wouldn't jump to anything because it's never totally representative of the finished piece and also i don't see why only Brie of those three actresses can play the daughter part (which i don't remember being especially significant?). i mean her and carrie coon are pretty much the same age!

Would bet on Odenkirk playing Bagdikian
