Emma Watson as Belle is genius casting. She fits the role perfectly, well minus the high caliber singing chops. The young generation don't care if you're an Oscar winner or not, what's important is your social media presence and likability. That's where Emma won.

Yes, he gets top billing (as do Fisher and Hamill despite the latter barely being in the film). Adam Driver is the first billed among the new cast.
