Cant post in the main thread but say business here in Canada is quite similar to the avengers 1 epic Saturday.

 

Shows have gone full from 10am to 1130pm and with a super wide release.

 

I say 75 plus as my guess.

If it matches the ticket sales of Avengers 1 today, I think it has a great chance at $80m. TA1 adjusts to $78.6m and IMAX/PLF have expanded quite a bit, meaning the new movie can have a decent boost from higher ticket prices on those PLF shows compared to a regular sold out show for TA1.

The AMC with IMAX that we go to is in a Mall - can always judge the busyness of the movie by the parking lot closest and we couldn't get anywhere near it today. The poor saps waiting in line for concessions - was a 10min wait with a full bank of cashiers open LOL
