Deathly Hallows 2 vs Revenge of the Sith

I genuinely love watching ROTS. It's incredibly entertaining. Probably my favourite Star Wars movie if I'm honest.

The finale of DH2 with Voldy that just goes "puff" because somebody killed another Horcrux or so is just lame.ROTS gets a lot of minus points for stuff like "Noooh" and so on, but the finale ist still way better than DH2.

These were probably the two most anticipated movies for me in the last ten years.I liked them, but....They both kind of pissed me off in that they could have, and should have, been better.

Looking back the ending of the duel of DH2 was really anti climatic...I think in the books its fine but in a movie series having someone win due to a technicality is silly.Really reduces the epiceness of the Hp films compared to Lotr and SW films imo.

They still could have made the book ending work if Voldy's death had more "oomph". Having him just slowly fall apart was not a satisfying conclusion for the main villain after eight movies, especially since he "died" in similar ways in the first and second movies.

I agree...In SW the Emperor dies by getting tossed by Vader, but it was a good ending because Vader went from Bad to Good seeing his son suffer for standing up for the Light side of the Force.

LOL Vader's turn from bad to good was so forced it's unbelievable.

ROTS's script is toilet paper next to DH2's. This shouldn't even be close.
