I still don't understand why WB cut WW's cinema count in just 3rd weekend, GOTG2 only started to have decline in its theater count in 4th week despite was having weaker legs.

I think other factors play a part, not just what WB wants. It's only a tiny amount, anyway.

Who was responsible for casting Gadot?

Give Credit to Snyder -> check. :sparta:

Mega props for both that AND seeing what none of us ended up seeing in BATFLECK before BVS. Well fucking done, Zack.

(remembers the Eisenberg casting and the Lex Zuckerberg fiasco)

Oh.

Still, 2/3 for completely out of the blue casting choices ain't bad.

Is hype for Transformers that low? How's the tracking? Can't believe it making less than like 75m 3-day, considering the last one topped 100m...

Tracking had it at 70M for the 5 day, but presales are half of what POTC had at AMC.

Yeah, that's crazy.

I can see the movies released very late like Aquaman and Dark Phoenix suffering because of the superhero overload.

I think those in late summer will be affected the most.

WW will keep theatres, loosing 200 when you have 4100 is not a big deal. The important is to be over 2500, and i think this movie will do it for a long time. This week the mummy will give a lot of theatres, Pirates 5 and CU are also candidates. If WW manage good holds it will have a good theatre count for a while.

Looks like he is a bit lost on how to handle the Superman Uni. Did great with Batfleck. Did well with WONDR in the cameo.

TF movies always had very poor pre-sales.
