Thanks for for the info :).

We're on a tour bus and only briefly drove through Times Square, but we're about to go back cause we're gonna see Cats on Broadway and DM3 in 4DX later.  I'll see if we can eat there for lunch.

Good thing you're doing the tour bus now. Do it later in the afternoon and you'll just be stuck in traffic the whole time lol

But Wasabi is really really good and it's not THAT expensive like other Times Square restaurants/places to eat.

Another place I recommend is Westway diner. It's not exactly in Times Square but right around the corner from there.

Or of course you can pick and choose from the plethora of other dining options that are available lol They have so many dining options that you'll probably spend like an hour trying to decide which one you want to eat at

Oops I might've worded myself poorly.  We took a bus from Maryland up to NYC that labeled itself as a tour bus.  That was how we got up there.

Thanks for the recommendation for the diner too!  I'll probably check that out sometime during my trip.  And my family seems to like the suggestion for eating sushi, so we'll probably go there and I'll see the glorious Valerian ad whilst eating sushi.

Haha no worries. We have buses like that that leave from Jersey to NYC as well. In my mind I was like how did he already make it to NYC AND get on one of those tour buses already

Best case scenario for DM3:

29.2

29.2

29.2

87.6M

I'm thinking low-80s right now because I expect it to drop today and tomorrow.

Come on now, a best case scenario will at least have a Sat increase!  Get with it!

The real glory for DM3 is gonna be Mon and Tue. Could drop 20% or less on Mon and then stay flat on Tuesday.

Even if the 3-day is around 80, the 5-day could be close to 120.

29.2

26.3 (-10%)

25.0 (-5%) 80.5 weekend

20.0 (-20%)

18.0 (-1%) 118.5 5-day

 8.1 (-55%)

 7.4 (-8.5%) 134 week 1

You know when WoH does best case scenarios on movies he doesn't like, he's actually posting the reasonable-to-worst case ones, right?  You should have learned from his weeks of WW weekends until he wised up:)...

On other posts, I will admit I overestimated DM3's out of the box OW in the derby thread...although my Baby Driver $27M 5 day and my House $7M 3 day might be right on the nose - 2 out of 3 ain't bad:)...

And as for the poster who predicted under $150M for TF5...you should have a prediction somewhere on the board...I had it at #14 in my pre-summer top 15 posted "help guide" for those playing the summer game (since I didn't play - so much work:)...I'm sure you can find the same to show you called this weeks ago:)...

Now, if I could only predict live-action summer comedies of premier or original origins - Baywatch and Rough Night made sure if I played the summer game, no matter how much I had right, I'd still be toast:)...so I'm happy to not get depressed every week looking at those 2 and my placements...

https://www.forbes.com/sites/scottmendelson/2017/07/01/box-office-wonder-woman-may-top-700-million-worldwide-today/#19bb27077691

Wonder Woman lost screens for the first time in its run, which tends to happen even to a leggy offering like this when there are three newbies in over 3,000 theaters-a-pop (plus a limited release expanding to 674 theaters) in the marketplace. The Warner Bros./Time Warner Inc. offering earned $4.32 million on Friday in 3,304 theaters, a drop of 529 theaters and a fall of 41% from last Friday's gross. Its domestic total, after 29 days, is now $334.879m. As I've noted here and there, the next month is going to be interesting for the Gal Gadot superhero movie. The good news is that there will be only four new releases over the next two weeks, specifically Spider-Man: Homecoming next weekend and War for the Planet of the Apes,Wish Upon and the wide expansion of The Big Sick on the 14th.
