Likely. I think it's pretty safe to say a good portion of those 31% is Styles' fanbase (most likely young women that dragged their boyfriends to see it). Dunkirk is hardly the typical movie your average under-25 demographic would be interested in. There are always exceptions, of course, but that percentage is certainly unusual for a foreign war movie without any romantic subplot. 

But women-over-25 demographic is as likely to be attracted by Styles' presence in the cast. He's not much younger than 25 himself, after all.

 

Either way, it's good for Dunkirk. And after watching the movie today, I'd say Nolan did a brilliant job casting the lad. Styles can certainly act. His acting was a pleasant surprise for me, along with Tom GC's.

But have to say I was rather disappointed with the lead's acting.

= 19.5 2nd weekend for APES? Just over 65% drop

 

It jumps 60% on Friday instead, then +35% on Sat (much better than movies last weekend) and -20% on Sun (again, using a great hold) still gives only 21.2 / 64% drop.

 

19.5-21.2 (64-65% drop) is like dumping two tons of ape shit on Tomato Law.
