As always we have the top 7 weekends chart in the game, but I thought it's time to try something a little different.  So in that vain,

 

Predict the 3 highest grossing weekends (aggregate Top 12 TOTAL) in the game.

 

To be clear I am referring to the total between the top 12 films on that weekend.  Weekend refers to the normal 3 day weekend (fri - sun).  You can choose any weekend which occurs during the gametime.

 

Part A - Predict the positions.  It is up to you you how many weekends you want to list (max of 3), you must specify what position the weekend will land (1, 2 or 3 - you can only list each position once and each weekend once).

 

You can abstain from Part A and from the whole SOTM for 3k.

 

eg. 

1. November 10-12

2. January 19-21

3. February 2-4

 

Scoring :-

Weekend is in Exact Spot = +20k

Weekend is 1 spot off = +10k

Weekend is 2 spots off = 0

Weekend is not in top 3 = -20k

 

Bonus Scores (Each score is added if it applies)

If all 3 weekends are in the top 3 = +50k

If all 3 weekends are within 1 spot = +50k

If all 3 weekends are exact (ie. you got the top 3) = +50k

If 2 weekends are not in the top 3 = -20k

If all 3 weekends are not in the top 3 = -40k

 

Part B - Predict the Aggregate Grosses for each weekend (Total Gross) you have selected in Part A.  You can choose not to answer the gross for any weekend of your choosing for no loss at all otherwise scoring is as per below:

 

Scoring :-

Weekend is not in Top 3 = 0

Weekend is in the Top 3 = 50k - (100k * % within the  actual gross) ~ rounded up to nearest 1k.

For you to be eligible for Part B, the weekend MUST be in the top 3.

 

Scoring :-

Weekend is not in Top 3 = 0

Weekend is in the Top 3 = 50k - (100k * % within the  actual gross) ~ rounded up to nearest 1k.

 

Bonus - Pick a weekend you have answered both Part A & Part B for.  Predict the % of the aggregate total the #1 film will get on that weekend.

 

Scoring (as it's a bonus no -ve)

Within 5% = 50k

Within 10% = 10k

outside 10% = 0

 

If you do no post / not answer this SOTM you will score -10k for this SOTM.
