Netflix need allow shows to have shorter seasons. Stranger Things 2 and The Punisher have far more episodes than they need.

Stranger Things 1 was way overlong, but 2 ! Is crazy, both season look like they would have really easily fitted in a 2h movie.

Filler when done right can be the best episodes a show does. Plus they can be great character development episodes. But I know people want instant gratification now and don't want to wait for the next big plot point.

Back then, a standard TV drama season was 22 episodes.
