Crimson Tide is extremely good as shit. Submarines gotta be in the top ten best plot devices. Terrific stuff, especially THAT CAST.

Also the main theme might be peak Zimmer.

This article does a good job explaining why Bao is very good and it isn’t ‘confusing’ or ‘emotionally manipulative’ like people have claimed about it

It’s a sweet short that should resonate more strongly with immigrant families or people who’s families follow a more communal culture than individualistic.

Bao is a great short, probably my favorite Pixar short in years. I honestly don't understand the seeming vitral hatred it's gotten from people. Yes it's about a boy who befriends a dumpling, but once you got passed that concept, it's actually really nice and sweet, and as that article points out, speaks to the animator's Chinese background. If anything, that makes me appreciate it more.

What have you been doing?

Thanks.

Reducing my portion size. I can still eat what I want but I have to smaller portions. Ex. I can have rice and gravy or curry stew but it has to be a cup. I’ve also incorporated more vegetables in my diet and smarter food choices (I work at Chick Fil A, so instead of a spicy sandwich with fries and a shake, I’ve had the sandwich but with one of their salads) I’ve also been running about 3 miles a day and drinking water (tbh even before I’ve always drank water and maybe a juice or milk now and then.)
