I hate opinions that are "this old thing is way better than the new stuff these days", but straight up all these anthology shows and none of them half as good as the Twilight Zone, sad!

Sometimes I like Black Mirror but alot of the time I feel like it's a knockoff Twilight Zone for dumb libertarians who probably unironically enjoy the Unabomber Manifesto.

The big acknowledged classics from The Twilight Zone are as good as advertised but my favorite episode so far is the relatively undersung one where Vera Miles starts seeing her doppelganger at a bus station on a rainy night. There's like half of David Lynch's future pet themes packed in there. Deliciously creepy and unsettling.

Mirror Image. That's a great episode. I'm also a big fan of The Hitchhiker episode, which I don't think gets as much love as it deserves. It's straight-up one of the scariest episodes of the entire series.

Holy shit this Toronto/Detroit game. This is peak NBA. DeRozan is a G. He just dunked so hard with 4 seconds left he cut his hand. The Raptors are too legit. We seriously may not get Warriors/Cavs this year, it just may actually happen. We may finally be able to watch basketball again.

I think the film Drive has single-handedly revived synth music. There's a shitload of new acts now. 

 

To think I used to hate 80s music as a kid. Now I really jam to it.

Moon -> Source Code -> Warcraft -> Mute is such a crazy progression. Source Code is one of the few movies where the director should have listened to the studio regarding where the movie should end instead of where he thought it should end. The freeze frame where like 99% of people will assume it ends was where the studio wanted the ending as well, Jones tacked on the final 5 minutes.
