Illinois would be a close second if it weren't for Chicago. It's pretty much the same way through the western part of the state. Iowa at least has some rolling hills to keep things a little interesting plus the landscape around Dubuque is genuinely gorgeous.

Agreed.  I also liked driving through the Western part of North Carolina.  Asheville to be exact

pretty sure that's how most countries have their roads. A letter representing the type of road, and a number... 

 

If I-80 doesn't make sense to you, what about Interstate-0.0000000286947639A?
