I had this weird dream last night where the Game of Thrones finale was actually a theatrical film that broke the opening weekend record, only for all the press around its box office to focus on poor word-of-mouth and how hard it was going to fall in its second weekend. Not as weird as a dream I had the night before V for Vendetta opened where the Friday estimates put it on track to beat Spider-Man's weekend record, but still.

 

I'm guessing the timing of the dream probably had something to do with the fact that I had been thinking about how Endgame's preview night was now exactly one year ago. And honestly, if the experience of seeing that movie with that pumped-up crowd and all of those payoffs isn't the poster child for why the theatrical viewing experience is so special, I don't know what is.

2020 has already proven to be one hell of a way to kick off the new decade(or the end of a decade, depending on how you’re counting). Kim Jong Un dying would just be another thing to add to the list of pure insanity this year. And to think, people said that 2016 was a crazy year...

This second SNL At Home is so much better than the first (that food store skit lmao. "You want toilet paper...how about a DVD of Van Helsing?"). That episode was clearly a test run to figure out how they could pull this off.
