Between discount and 1st run theaters, I saw...

Lego Batman

Power Rangers

Smurfs 3

Baywatch

Despicable Me 3

Wonder Woman

Spiderman HC

Justice League

The Star

Jumanji

(You can tell I have kids, just by this list:)...Although, that is more than I thought I went to...10 total...probably 2-3 were on my own list to see:)...

I had tickets to Beauty and the Beast and The Last Jedi, and had to cancel both for illness (and have not yet gotten back to either - you know, they may have been well-timed illnesses:)...so I would have been one a month, which is about the max I can manage with other life stuff...

At the discount, I will probably be watching Coco and Murder on the Orient Express (teen chose a different party option and between all the parties and illnesses and other films, we missed this, too) over the next few weeks, but that will be on my 2018 list (since I'm trying to shake a cold, so NYE viewing is out - it's fun when everyone gets sick at different times!)...

These older people came into the theatre a few minutes ago and they just passed the box office line (I'm the one selling tickets today) and our usher had to leave his position for a minute to fix a projector problem, so I call in the back to my friend in concession and told her to ask these people if they had tickets (which they didn't of course)

and they said "oh yea we bought them from the girl outside" they said they're going to jumanji which (at this point) didn't start for an hour and there wasn't even a single ticket sold for it on our computer system)

well thats bullshit, I'm the only one outside and I clearly look like a dude so you didn't even try to make a convincing lie. And they said "she" forgot to give them their 3D glasses and wanted them from the concession.

So my friend asked to see their tickets and they said they threw them in the garbage by the door. I left box office because the line was gone by then and I was getting pissed. So I went in the mini lobby garbage we have by the door and not only was there no tickets in there, but the garbage was ABSOLUTLEY EMPTY.

Now, I don't always like to be confrontational with customers, but this was really pissing me off, because they were still saying "just give us our glasses and we'll go into the movie and won't cause any trouble" and so me and one of the concession girls were like uh no you didn't pay for your tickets.

AND THEN one of the ladies in the group was like "are you accusing us of stealing? Because we can get a lawyer on you, your employer, and your families"

At this point the manager came down and asked what was going on. The people complained saying we weren't being fair to them, and then me and my friend explained the situation so my manager asked to see their tickets, they couldn't produce them, so he told them they had to buy tickets or couldn't see the movie.

They left.

Ugh like the nerve of some people!!!
