Wonder what the budget is because the visuals during the Bowser sequence especially are pretty impressive.

I do hear a faint Italianness in Pratt's voice when he says "Mushroom Kingdom, here we come". It's not particularly a good accent, but it's there kind of.

 

I'm more surprised how Jack Black sounds nothing like himself. I guess they were afraid people don't want Jack Black-isms. But like...why did you cast Jack Black then?

It seemed like Pratt was doing his normal voice UNTIL his end sentence. I thought I heard an accent in there.

It sounds more NY/Brooklyn to me than Italian.

Everything. EVERYTHING I was hoping for when they announced Illumination were doing this. The humour is perfect.  The look and feel of it all. 
 

This is easily top five most anticipated films of 2023 for me.  I’ll be as excited for opening day as I get for a flagship new Mario game. Which is DAMN EXCITED!!
