The Panda
If it hits just at 40m I’d give this a 50/50 shot of making 100m. Given V-Day is during the week and Presidents’ Day weekend next week, I think it could potentially be the ‘leggiest’ of the three shades

AniNate
Greengrass might have made something a little less nationalistic but nevertheless I don't think cinematically dramatizing the story in any capacity is healthy for national policy. a2k
Quote Sony’s other family pic Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle looks like $2.3M today for a three-day of $10M in Weekend 8, down 8%, with a running total of $365.8M. This momentum smells like it’s set to topple Sony’s Spider-Man 2 ($373.5M) to become the studio’s second highest-grossing title stateside after Sam Raimi’s original Spider-Man ($403.7M). And 20th Century Fox’s underdog musical The Greatest Showman looks like $1.6M today for a three-day of $6.2M, -19%,for a running total in Weekend 8 of $146.3M. The pic will soon overtake Les Miserables ($148.8M), and is less than $5M from overtaking Benj Pasek and Justin Paul’s previous Oscar-winning song-scripted musical La La Land ($151.1M). http://deadline.com/2018/02/fifty-shades-freed-peter-rabbit-1517-to-paris-weekend-box-office-1202283099/

WrathOfHan
Forecasting Jumanji with that 10M weekend: Remainder of this week: 3.3M (369.1M Total) (nice @aabattery) Feb 16: 10.3M (4.9M weekdays, 384.3M Total) Feb 23: 8.4M (2.5M weekdays, 395.2M Total) Mar 2: 7.7M (2.1M weekdays, 405M Total) Mar 9: 4.8M (1.2M weekdays, 411.2M Total) Mar 16: 2.9M (700k weekdays, 414.8M Total) Mar 23: 1.6M (400k weekdays, 416.8M Total) Final Total: 421M Theaters will keep this around until the 16th/23rd when there are 7 new wide releases over those two weeks (not to mention the four on the 9th). I'm guessing Sony will release the Blu-Ray in mid to late April? Edited February 9, 2018 by WrathOfHan

a2k
Jumanji is likely to beat SM1. This is even more shocking than WONDR beating SM1. It has a shot at WONDR too, and that would take it to #3 on Dom charts 2017. Jumanji's 5-day was ~36. Gonna add 370 more after that. TLJ's 3-day ow was 220. Gonna add 400 more after that.
