Idk I have a feeling this might be like the Force Awakens situation. There was so much up front demand and audiences that the numbers are slightly inflated. Remember when Deadline had TFA at 275M opening weekend

Not really... there was pretty much every reason to believe this time last year that it'd open to at least $100M, that's kinda standard for big superhero movies now. But yeah, Black Panther's absolutely crushing it. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see IW open lower and make less overall, I don't feel like there's as much interest.
