I thought the drops this weekend seemed a bit high but they are in line, if not a little better (except PRU) when compared to Easter weekend last year when Fate of the Furious debuted. Granted, Easter was in mid-April last year.

Critics Consensus: A Quiet Place artfully plays on elemental fears with a ruthlessly intelligent creature feature that's as original as it is scary -- and establishes director John Krasinski as a rising talent.

Relative to expectations, the biggest bomb of 2018 is going to be Solo.

But you can't eat an expectation, so yeah, PR is a strong candidate. Plenty of time left in the year, though.

Solo can find a way to be a hit.

April’s bombs will be Chappaquidick.

May will be Life Of The Party, Show Dogs, and Book Club.

June will be Action Point.

July will be Equalizer 2, and possibly Skyscraper(although I wanna see both of them).

August will be The Meg.

September will be The Predator.

October will be Mowgili.

November will be Bohemian Rhapsoady, and Robin Hood.

December will be Bumblebee, and Atlita

top 6 biggest  bombs of 2018

1) Robin Hood

2) Mowgili

3) Pacific Rim 2

4) Atlita

5) The Meg

6) Bumblebee

So Ready Player One will make over $120 million total and make a decent amount internationally. WB has had luck internationally this year more than domestic. (Correction: Game Night has made a pretty good amount for an R-rated comedy in the states).

Not surprised by Ready Player ONe numbers in China, they do love their incoherent, CGI Heavy action set pieces that go nowhere there.

I’m happy BP ‘destroyed’ Rogue One and TLJ domestically. “MCU is like who’s the top franchise now bitch.”

Marvel Studio's is by far the bigger money maker.

They could bring in 3.5 billion this year in box office revenue.
