Look ladies and gentlemen, this has gone on long enough.  It started with the DCEU and we didn't put the lid on that quick enough,  It made the forums unbearable for a time.  So we had to make the spoiling the well rule.     Same thing goes here.  It's not a SW bias as some have suggested.  It's that about a dozen posters have all complained about the same things.  We can't have a shit storm/blitzkrieg against one film.  There are threads for that.  We have said in the past, if you wan

Could be slightly sooner than that. AIW post memorial weekend dailies are very close to GotG2. GotG2 fell below $1m on this upcoming Wednesday, albeit just barely $0.998k.

So as per Rth DP2 will win OS weekend this time around with 35-40M compared to Solo's 30ish. Must say I expected even worse for Solo with around 25M, so I guess it's not that bad.

AIW post MD had better week to week daily drops and then a better weekly drop and bigger w/e than GOTG off (a $3.6m+ lower) MD w/e.

Godzilla 2 outgrossing Solo next year would be funny. Even with a sub 80M OW, Godzilla could reach it if Solo doesnt somehow get great legs.

Godzilla (2014) barely had 2x legs.   With a $70m opening even with 2.5x legs that would be $175m...

Was a bit of a typo, i meant 80M :lol: but youre still right, its a big stretch. It depends though if Solo can stabilize in the next few weeks or if it keeps falling. Sub 220M DOM is possible for it imo.
