true, no clue about participation costs. signing such a big cast for sequels must seem like a bigger headache unless it's a mega hit.

With a 30M OS weekend, and JW2 coming next weekend, Solo should add probably 40-45M more from current markets optimistically and 35M from Japan if it doesn't drop from Rogue One. That would get it to 195M OS. 400M WW looks like it will be touch and go.

yeah even without Japan had a 36.1 weekend, down only 37% from ~57 last weekend.

JW2 is going to devour everything in a few days, but DP2 has dominated some countries since its release. $400M OS remains possible. This shows that FOX was smart to move DP2 before Solo and away from the dinos (even if they had no idea the SW movie would do this badly).

Incredibles 2 has big expectations, but faces the Jurassic World tidal wave a week in to its run, that's gonna hurt, but that's the summer calendar.

 

But as for Ant Man 2, what are it's expectations? I haven't heard much about it.

That's what happened in brazil in local currency: Avengers IW beat the previous record, The Avengers 2, by 70% and it's not even over yet!

 

 

 

In Philippines, it doubled the previous record.

What a strange way to go about complaining about your salary. With 200k employers obviously some will be unhappy, but you take if up with your union and then they take you out on strike. This will only lead to nothing, as it becomes irrelevant and forgotten in a few days. Also weird timing to complain when you know the $50B buyout of Fox is around the corner, meaning money are most likely tight right now.

If Solo follows DOFP from here, it ends at 210M. It has been holding slightly worse than DOFP to date, so it will be interesting to see the run for sure.
